Physician Bio

Dr. Sunkara has a focus in Urgent Care and Family Medicine and is the Site Director for the MHMG Urgent Care. He has dual clinical training and doctoral training in Health Services. With a strong interest in quality-of-care, he applies data studies to clinical care and has a specialty in the design of clinical care algorithms and patient-centered analytics. His philosophy of clinical practice is high quality, compassionate, and effective care for those who need Urgent Care services. He is trained in a broad section of outpatient Urgent Care procedures and medical management of patients across the outpatient acuity spectrum.
